Going from console to jump seat

Has anyone done a write up on what is involved to go from a Center console to a jump seat? Does the Jump Seat have the 110v plug? What do I need besides the jump seat itself?

If you plan on selling your center console, I'd be down to buy it from you for the right price! I'll check about the 110v plug, do you want to know if it is inside the jump seat console or what? we do have a 110v near the "ash tray"

I think it all comes out to fit the console. I also need to know how to wire the jump seat up, hopfully the wiring is under neath the console

Mine has a 12V outlet and USB ports, as well as SD card slot inside the flip-down seatback. As mentioned, 120V is on underside of dash.

I'm curious as to how cut up your carpet, etc. is under the console. I would expect mounting brackets and the like will be sticking up thru the floor.

There is someone on here that converted TO the console from the jump seat. You might want to search for the thread and contact him to ask what he had to do...

I just swapped out my jump seat for a console. The jump seat doesn't have a 110 in the seat area but you'll need the parts for the "ash tray." That'll come with the tray, cigarette lighter port, and a 110. Easy plug and play on that section. I have all these parts in black if you or anyone else is interested.

I special ordered my truck because I specifically wanted the jump seat over the console. I like having the flexibility of hauling 6 people. The console to me is too much of an overkill in size.
