Sup guys, I just finished my whipple install on my 2014 (except the sparkplugs). It started up but it idles really rough and dies. I loaded my start up tune from black bear. Could it be the fact that i havent swapped the plugs making this isuue. Im going to swap them in the morning. geres a teaser pic.

Something must be wrong, mine idled like stock with stock tune (6.2L). It's probably some wiring issue, or a stuck supercharger bypass valve.

As said, even on the stock tune the truck should fire up and idle as normal.

Not sure about the Trucks but on the GrandPrix GTP as the boost increased you had to change out the plugs for a different heat range and use a tighter gap.

well i just started the truck to make sure evrything worked fine. i didnt get on it or made the boost go up.

Either way you need to pull the plugs and look at them. Lean + blower spells disaster. But man, I find it crazy you guys are able to run supercharger on an 11+ compression motor. I used to run a Littlefield 8-71 with Enderle or Crower mechanical fuel injection on methanol on my 72 Stingray and I was a nervous wreck with anything over 7.5 or 8 to one.

im going to swap the plugs in a bit. here some pics of the vac lines, does anyone see anything hooked up wrong?

if i keep my foot and the gas pedal to keep the truck idle above 800ish rpm it sounds and feels fine, if i let off thats when it idles rough and dies.

I tried looking for a vac leak and didnt see any. I saw a small amount of smoke coming out of the cai filter.

Sounds like symptoms of an iat sensor not being plugged in but idk

the maf is plugged in, i unhooked it while it was running and it immediately died.

Have Justin send you a log configuration for start up and idle. Then log the truck. When he looks at the log he should be able to see if something is out of whack.

Are you using an auto cal or a V2?
