Have Justin send you a log configuration for start up and idle. Then log the truck. When he looks at the log he should be able to see if something is out of whack.

Are you using an auto cal or a V2?

autocal, I emailed him on Wednesday but haven't heard from him.

Wednesday! I doubt you will hear from them until Monday and I can guarantee you don't have the only auto-cal waiting for a tune... PATIENCE GRASS HOPPA!!

Either way you need to pull the plugs and look at them. Lean + blower spells disaster. But man, I find it crazy you guys are able to run supercharger on an 11+ compression motor. I used to run a Littlefield 8-71 with Enderle or Crower mechanical fuel injection on methanol on my 72 Stingray and I was a nervous wreck with anything over 7.5 or 8 to one.

Direct injection is a different ballgame. And these ls motors are stout. The 2014+ have been proven for 800-1000hp on stock internals. ( yes there's proof out there) the new Trans in the 5.3 are compatible to the Allison now also, and the diffs are stout AF

I read on another forum, to spray starting fluid around the vac lines ect to see if there's a change on the idle and I did it and there was no change on the rough idle. I sprayed the tb area, manifold area, and all the vac lines.

What about around the manifold where it mounts to the head on each side?

Maybe scan it for codes.......? Mine last year was doing a rough idle/dying deal and it had a TPS/pedal position sensor code, but no check engine light or anything......

There's no check engine light at the moment . I tried to go drive it around the block but I can't drive it because it idles so bad. If I just turn it on and let it run on park it idles some what normal but when I put it in gear it all goes to shit.

did the spark-plug swap and changed the k&n cai back to the stock airbox and put the supplied whipple intake tube and its still the same if not worse. the truck is smoking a mixture of black and gray smoke, i can smell fuel when it starts. i notice theres a lot of condensation water build up at the exhaust.

Well I returned the tune to stock and it works perfect. Maybe my tune from black bear must really be off.
