2016 All Terrain

Just picked up a 2016 All Terrain to replace my previous 2014 AT and absolutely love it. Couple of observations on the 2016 for those familiar with the 2014's and 2015's. The LED headlights are a great fix for the headlight problems the others have\had. I'd had the update done to the 2014 and it was a noticeable improvement but nothing compared to the LED's.

The cup holders in the center console look to be stationary unlike those in the 2014's and I assume the 2015's. This is a minor thing but I sure did like the storage area under those cup holders. Great place to stick your sidearm.

Shifting of the 8 speed trans seems to be very smooth. Much better than the 6 speed in the 2014. I did notice a bit of bucking when going from 2nd to 1st when coming to a stop. Could just be tight at this point as it only has 89 miles on it.

Car Play looks like a good addition. Haven't had much time to mess with it yet but so far I like what I'm seeing.

Last point is a screw up on my part. I was so giddy about the new toys I didn't check to see if this was an E85 engine. Sadly it's not. I'll miss that extra boost of HP when I want to have some fun but what the heck. I guess I gotta grow up some day.

Yes I stash stuff under the cup holders all of the time I would miss that.

The HD radio is back in your truck does it keep the channles locked in better.

The took the HD out of the 2015 because they couldn't fix the reception issues.

I'm hopping GM has the 10 speeds out when I'm ready for a new truck ha ha.,

Don't think you can get the e85 option with an 8 speed. (I wanted it as well - but it seems to be only available on 5.3 6 speed, which means not on SLT)

FHS option is about 1/2 way down:

Just verified that you can't move cup holders on mine as well (and the front location doesn't have the guides). Wonder what GM put underneath?

And I agree, the LED's are a awesome.

Living in the Dallas area we have pretty good reception so I never experienced the HD radio issue. Sorry I can't add more other than it is back and it works.

Oh the 5.3 isn't FlexFuel anymore? Why did they do that? Congrats! I probably won't be getting another pickup until around 2019 to 2020. Gotta make this one last a bit.

I missed the cup holder issue when looking at this one too. Only noticed when I got it home and started putting things into the truck. I really am gong to miss that little nook.

Sadly there's no way to find out what's underneath. You cannot remove them like the 2014's and 2015's.

Ahhh gotcha, now I get it, that does blow removal makes them easy to clean

I'm working over a local dealer maybe I can join u in a early 16 club, we will c tomorrow, good thing is I have a very nice on already so if it doesn't work oh well
