Mine was ordered at the end of February. I was told the production date is 6/27. I'm not happy.

Yeah I got an order number. It's got the max tow package, and it's an ltz, but nothing special. I can't believe it's taking this long. The dealership is trying to get the factory to put a rush on it.

6.2 standard bed loaded is at least 2 months. You get a less trim package, possible sooner. Ordered 1-22. Received 3-23. (Edited, didnt mean to sound short).

Maybe you should reread this thread, 1300c is talking 4-5 months before delivery, yes normally 2 months but 4-5 months is a little bit hard to swallow.

Picked up truck today and GenMngr and salesman stated that GM got even tighter on the constraint.

I was just on my GMC Dealer's website and they only have one truck out of 204 in inventory with a 6.2L but they have 33 Yukons and 21 of them are 6.2L and 49 Yukon XL's and 28 of them have 6.2L. WTF? Why can't GM show some love and share the 6.2L's with truck assembly plants? For the life of me I find it hard to believe there are that many people that can afford a 72K - 80K SUV to take their kids to soccer practice, let alone need a 6.2L....

It would be nice if someone from GM that reads these posts would pipe up and explain what's going on. I don't think I'll wait 4-5 months for my truck, but then again, what's the alternative, other than keeping my truck for another 2 years and run it into the ground. I wonder if the lack of availability has to do with meeting some emission average for pick up trucks from the EPA? I can't see it being a manufacturing issue at the 2 engine plants as there does not seem to be any supplier restrictions for the Yukon line.

I ordered my LTZ With the 6.2 and max trailer package on February 19. I have an order number and last week It was 3400 out of 5000 complete. Should be done this week supposedly. Try going on gm insider website. A lot of good info on there. GM is also having trouble keeping up with the G80 option (limited slip). There are constraints on that as well.

The dealer is supposed to tell me by no later than Wednesday what is taking so long on mine. I'm wondering if it wasn't accidently ordered as part of their general inventory instead of as a sold unit. That could explain the longer wait possibly.
