Chrome Trailering Mirrors

Hello-

I'm new here to this forum and I hope this is the correct place to post this item. I just purchased a new 2500 HD Silverado to replace my '02 model. It has the black trailering mirrors. Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to put the chrome cap on the top and bottom of these mirrors or if I would need to look into replacing the entire assembly (spendy). Seems like it should be possible but I can't seem to find any information.

You can buy the chrome caps. What trim level truck? Gas or diesel?

It's a LT. Gas engine. I haven't been able to find those caps.

You need part #'s 23444117 and 23444118 for the top, and 23444122 and 23444123 for the bottom. They don't sell them as a kit unfortunately. Retail on all four pieces runs around $288.

Thanks for that info. Now I'm throwing around the idea of ordering a complete set of original chrome mirrors and just switching the caps. Then I will try to sell the all black mirrors to someone who's looking to upgrade. I think I should be able to save some $ that way. Thanks for your help 15HDriver

Sorry but I sold them to my neighbor just down the road. He put them on his 2015. Thanks for checking.
