Navigation - Save locations?

Is there a way on this navigation to save locations (home, other friends houses, etc) and have a label to see on the map permanently?

You can save nav to the push buttons on the radio. I have my home saved to make it easier in case I am somewhere and want to see if there is a shorter way home.

Yes I knew of that part, but I am just speaking of being able to have certain locations show up at all times on my map. No for directions, etc but strictly for just showing up on the map. This was a feature I loved on my previous vehicle.

I figured out how to save a location to a favorite button as said and to save it as a previous trip, but never was able to put it as a point of interest on the map.

also my 2011 had where you already traveled and had icons to show where you had already visited - now not with the 2015 (?)

I'm glad it doesn't automatically save the places you already have been, in case someone else could recall those places, and you may have said you were at "A" and she finds out you really were at "B" lol....had enough trouble with my phone doing that =D

This too! I used to have every turn flagged in my old car for the route down to FL. That was such a nice feature... ugh.

After you have chosen a location use a radio station pre-set as a Saved Location, and the 2 types will be mixed in together ... as pre-sets
