It's always a Chevy!

Thats a great commercial. Amazing how a vehicle can feel and become a family member. My dad always had trucks and this is my first truck. My kids (8 yr twins) love dads truck. They love the height...and how big it feels. Always owned gm products....79 Malibu , 68 Camaro, 83 GP, montes....something about a Chevy that makes memories bring a tear to your eye or wish you could go back. I know I'll have this truck for when they are ready to drive....can't wait.... Memories run deep in this girl...

Not that I needed any help, but this commercial pushed me over the top!

Being a Dale Sr fan when I was younger and now a Dale Jr fan once SR died (was a fan of both when JR did come to Cup) I think is the reason I'm a Chevy guy.

I remember an interview with Jr. when they were asking about what his options were, he paused and said well first off it has to be a Chevy, and by the look he gave you knew he meant it! Not many like that anymore!

Ya I think JR is one of the few left if not maybe the only one left that cares about what brand he drives. Most don't care but if I was a driver I'd only drive a Chevy or at least any GM. I'm just brand loyal with pretty much everything and also stubborn lol.

Great commercial. Agree 100%. I have friends that will buy whatever and friends that are all ford. For me even if the ford won more, had more power or more options I will always be a Chevy guy. I don't think there are many left that keep with a manuf. Thru thick and thin. Every manuf has defects, recalls, bad press...but in the end its American and just a belief in family. I know it sounds corny but when you see a Chevy truck commercial they make you feel like its a family member, watching Ford or any other manufacturer ( minus Subbies) there's no connection. Only one I feel the same for is the subbies. We had one when my kids were born and it will always have a place with me but with Chevrolets....[emoji7]

There's some with Ford, but I don't think I've heard a song with Dodge Ram in it.

Ya I just didn't remember and I have a tendency to not be all that great at remembering lyrics unless I'm listening to the song and even then won't remember all of them lol. Thing is Alan Jackson isn't even before "my time".

I know one thing I know I haven't heard anyone sing about their Toyota or Nissan in country music. If there is I'm pretty sure I haven't heard it before and maybe only once.

One of my favorite commercials!

That is a good one. They had a few really, really good spots on Youtube with the "Chevy Runs Deep" campaign a few years back and I thought it was a shame they never were actually aired. For a few years, Chrysler absolutely owned the whole Americana thing with their Super Bowl spots but these could've given them a run for their money.

You're right, I remember the "imported from Detroit theme", I'll have to admit I kinda liked it!
