Floor Mats or Floor Liners

Hey Guys,

Brand new to the forum. Just picked up a brand new 2015 Sierra. I got an GM Accessory gift card with the purchase and I am looking at buying some premium GM all weather floor mats. Should I go with the new GM Premium All Weather Floor Liners or the GM Premium All Weather Floor Mats. I clean my floor mats probably every 2-4 weeks and Im worried the Floor Liners may be a HUGE pain to install and remove to clean them. Anyone have any experience with the new Floor Liners?

Any help would be great and much appreciated!

Thanks!!!

Liners are no more difficult to remove and reinstall. Liners are the way to go. They catch a lot especially snow/slush/water unlike floor mats

Liners for sure, they are not hard to take out. I take mine out all the time and pressure wash them

husky liners way better than weather tech had both

Do the Liners. Just put front and backs in my 2015 crew cab. Easy installation, geat fit.

My GM dealer told me their GM premium mats are junk. I listened to someone here and got Husky's for front. Didn't like them so switched to Weathertech for back

Hi,

We offer both, but liners are way to go. Husky, Nifty, Weathertech or Maxliner - matter of preference, but liners will cover the best. Will gladly help if anybody interested.

Just got mine in today and installed. Love them.

Go with the liners . I had the GM mats and they are junk . Covered only about half of the carpet . It was a waste of 80.00! I ordered the Husky Weatherbeaters with hump liner and I love them ! How long has GM sold the liners with the logo ? Never seen them before . Price ??

Brand aside, go with liners. Like them MUCH better than any kind of mat.

Winters are a mess in my neck of the woods. Never regretted liners. Regretted mats terribly.

Had WTs on my '07, loved them. Wife has WTs in her '08 Enclave as well as the Enclave cargo area mat from WT. Great for the two retrievers.

I recently ordered Wts for my 16 crew cab. Initially the fit was horrible. It has gotten better. WT, actually, is working with me after a second call to them and a little  . They are sending a second set. If they don't fit better, like the '07 Sierra and '08 Enclave ones do, then I may consider the Huskey's.

Wife has the tan color for her enclave. There are dirt stains on the tan ones now that defy removal (yes, tried all kinds of things). Don't get me wrong, they clean up well, but some of the residual dirt in the grooves are stubborn. Shows up REAL well on tan.

Huskys don't come in a color that would do well with my interior as of yet. I am trying to avoid tan (see above)

I have the chocolate brown / tan interior. I am trying to make the WTs work, as they now offer the liners in a chocolate brown as well. That color works well with my '16, and won't show every last little bit of dirt that won't come out with time.

Just food for thought.

I got the mats with my truck. Dealer wasn't interested in any kind of part trades so in the end I got fed up and just left with the truck as-is (good price though). I'm going to get the GMC liners. Any suggestions on how to offload the mats other than eBay?

I think GM has just released the floor liners pictured above in the last few months.

Guys, he has a GM accessories gift card. It will probably be GM liners or GM mats.

Seems as though the only reason you were hesitant on the liners was removal and most have indicated they are no harder to take out. Get the liners for the extra coverage.
