At the fertilizer plant? I'm in same type of work just couple steps down the ladder haha. Was trying to get on there due to current company finally ran outta work.

I don't know..... Ill be their on Monday and find out haha... All i got was hey hey how does $XX sound and hr plus $YY perdeim and i said yes haha.

 

Tell me about the ladder.... I started picking up trash, to insulation, to metal man, to scaffolding, to foreman, now im going as a QC

I didn't buy it to race and will probably never take it to the track, but I'm an old gear head from the past and just curious!

Are you Flex Fuel? I'd say high 14's should be the norm, maybe low 15's. But I ran 14.6 with 3.08's with great weather,not sure how much quicker 2wd's are than 4wds though

Using a dashhawk, my truck ran 14.7's. That's with a Diablo std tune and mit intake tube leveled with stock tires. With my TBSS, the dashhawk was pretty accurate, within a tenth and usually a little slower than actual. I now have a bit larger tires on, and may take it to Milan this weekend just to see. Some friends are going, and I may tag along. My truck is a 5.3.

No it's regular gas! These trucks sure have come a long way!

My 14 ccsb went 14.52 @ 95 spinning with just a tune. Gonna go back soon with E85 and hopefully go a little quicker. Then I will install the TSP longtubes.

Mine ran a 14.60 @ 94.5. These heavy tires and wheels kill these trucks. I watched a 2015 6.2/8-speed with a intake, long tubes, catback, and LMR tune go 13.2 @ ~100

I have a 2015 Silverado 6.2L CC 4x4, 3.23 diff. Been doing some reading about performance tests by various mags such as Car & Driver, Truck Trend, etc. and I've seen 1/4 mile times as low as 14.1. But, invariably these times invariably have the caveat "when maxed out at 99mph". Which implies to me that the truck bumped up against the speed limiter before reaching the 1/4 mile line. So, it seems to me in order to achieve the best time (without tuning) in the 1/4 one should use a 4x4 set in Auto with 3.73 rear-end. Then the drag race is all about who can hit their speed limiter first.
