Amsoil?

Anyone have experience with this stuff? My buddy who's a GM mechanic said its good stuff and ordered me some through another guy. He said it was good stuff and was interested to see how it performed after the next oil change.

I feel like a post whore today, I obviously missed the forums while on vacation.

 

I run Amsoil Signature Series in my truck. I haven't had any analysis done on the used oil, but it seems to be working great, as my truck still runs[emoji14]

I run Amsoil Signature Series 5w30 in my Cruze. Over 36k miles and the dipstick looks as clean as the day I bought it so I'd imagine the inside of the engine looks that way too. Seems to be great oil.

I run it in my Harley Davidson Bikes and it's is really good stuff and actually runs cooler.

Thanks for the answers fellas. I have heard that it runs cooler. I heard people say it makes the truck more fuel efficient and blah blah blah. I didn't buy my truck for fuel mileage though. Hence the lift and 33s?

I run Signature 10w30 in my 2500hd (I have an 8.1l not exactly a fuel sipper), and it runs well. Doesn't burn nearly as much oil off as other oils do

Been running Amsoil Sig 0W20 for about 6 months. Just did an oil change around 6800 miles. Filled it back up with the same stuff. I also sent an oil sample to Blackstone, will be nice to compare to when I was running the dealership stuff.

I haven't sent anything off to Blackstone with the Truck yet. I did on my previous vehicle, it was fun to see how levels changed when I switched from RP 5-30 to Castrol Edge 0-30.

Amsoil is great stuff! Just use either the XL or Signature Series oils.

I run it in mine. The signature series. Its about due for a change, unfortunately since i moved for work i dont know where to get some locally but i will continue to use it since it runs really clean.
