2016 SLT lights in 14/15 SLT/All Terrain almost done

Recommended Posts

Skully86, you probably have HID lamps instead of LED. Do you have the little GMC logo next to the the projector lens? If not, you have HID. You would need to swap to LED headlamps to get turn signals in the led bars.

On the list. Come on 4 more people! ?

Got you down. Ordering the parts today. Thanks!!!

Put me down for a harness. Just sent you a pm.

I PM'd you for a harness! I want on the list!

I have a 2017 SLT and my turn signal is not LED or in the DRL like the Denali.

Is this something I would need?

Replied to your PM. If you have a 17 SLT you have LED headlights

Got my set this weekend... Very nicely done and love that the led "C" functions as it should. Thanks very much z. Now anyone interested in a very lightly used gen5 harness? ?

Awesome! Thanks a lot.

Anyone plugged them up yet?

Ok so I just finished my light install thanks to Vann. Here's a video of the lights...

Here's a few pics...

Also, the resisters get hot so I had to think about where to mount them. I wanted to be able to get the harness out without removing my entire front end again if I needed to for any reason. I ended up pop riveting them to the bottom of the metal plate for the air box and the top of the empty metal plate on the driver's side. This way nothing gets melted. Here's a few pics...

If you go this route use stainless pop rivets. Aluminum ones will break over time.

Thx! Anyone installing these with the resisters should know that the resisters get pretty hot. Hot enough to burn you and melt plastic so make sure you attach it somewhere on metal and away from anything that could melt...
