For those wanting to order from TRS, A member from Coloradofans got it set up so you can purchase through them.

Round Fogs are $160. shows free shipping at checkout.

 

Not sure how long it will run on their site.

That's pretty sleazy of TRS to use the same coupon code that I came up with/suggested to the current vendor. Anyone who I PM'd knows that the original coupon code was different. It's funny how competition works.

 

TRS was being quite greedy while requiring a minimum of 25 people for 20% off with no free shipping. This other vendor told me a minimum of 10 at $155 shipped. They even went out of their way to setup that group buy page without me even asking, allowing anyone to get the great deal/offer.

 

And a small FYI: spoonman over at the other forum made the following statement in regard to this group buy: "Id rather deal with the main authorized dealer."

 

I am unsure if TRS is the "main authorized" Morimoto "dealer." They are a, however, "Morimoto Master Dealer." I think with what has transpired so far, DistantXtremes has already demonstrated over-the-top quality service and are well-deserving, in my opinion, of this group buy and its funds.

 

One has to remember, I went to TRS first and provided them with the opportunity. Now that a viable and alternative source for Morimoto products exists, with lower prices and equal and/or better service, there's no real need to be funneled toward TRS moving forward.

 

But hey, competition is good!

There seems to be a slight mix-up/misunderstanding here. We had a customer call us on Wednesday asking why the coupon code for the fog light group buy wasn't working and he referred to this thread. So we(TRS) created a coupon code as he made it seem like the group buy was through us, however we have since disabled that coupon code upon looking into this further. Sorry for the confusion, all just a bit of a misunderstand here didn't mean to step on any toes. You can continue to order through Dave at Distant who is a great guy to work with!

So guys I sent FASTWS6 a message about a possible group buy for the FXR Projector swap. If we can get 10 people we can get them for $269.00. These would make you headlights match great!

Based upon the tracking page (http://www.distantxtremes.com/Groupbuy-GMGB2016.html), the first 15 are now processing and should be shipped within the next few days!

 

The second group needs 5 more people before their orders can be processed.

 

We seem to be at a stand still for the second group, i'm in no hurry to get these but also don't want to come back two weeks from now and still see the vendor waiting to ship because we only have 8 people paid for and not 10, i hope he is nice enough to get these orders out regardless seeing as we already have enough numbers to satisfy his discount demands.

I will get mine this weekend for my Sierra. I also have a buddy that might be interested in some for his Silverado (he is not a member on here, someone please let me know if that is a problem)
