Group Buy: Morimoto XB LED Fog Light Housings

There seems to be a slight mix-up/misunderstanding here. We had a customer call us on Wednesday asking why the coupon code for the fog light group buy wasn't working and he referred to this thread. So we(TRS) created a coupon code as he made it seem like the group buy was through us, however we have since disabled that coupon code upon looking into this further. Sorry for the confusion, all just a bit of a misunderstand here didn't mean to step on any toes. You can continue to order through Dave at Distant who is a great guy to work with!

I'm not sure why anyone would create a coupon code, identical to another group buy's second coupon code, without verifying beforehand. That's essentially money out of your pocket without verification. If true, then that's not a very good business practice in my opinion. *shrug*

Regardless, this group buy was successful and will continue to be successful until the vendor decides to end it and/or people stop buying.

All in all, the lights were shipped out on Friday, I received them on Monday, installed them yesterday (Tuesday), and they work great. At this point I'm about to check out.

There should be plenty of information in this thread for others to read and validate/verify any concerns. The first page has all of the information as it relates to vehicle compatibility. Remember that the round GM (Chevrolet, GMC, and Pontiac) Morimoto fog lights are all the same part.

I would just like to thank everyone here and on the other forums for stepping up to participate in this group buy. After all, without any of you, none of these would have shipped out at said discounted price; power in numbers. And thank you to GM-Trucks.com for allowing this to be carried out. But of course, thanks must go to Dave at DistantXtremes for even entertaining this idea and then taking it by the reins to make this as painless as possible.

Just talked with Dave at distant and he confirmed we have the correct part number for sierra owners, i also asked him about the third group and he said it will need to fill to 10 for it to process and ship out.

Oh, so I have to wait til the group buy gets fulfilled before he ships my lights? Shucks....

Really wanted the chrome ones but this group buy has me tempted to settle. I just don't know how it will look on the front of my truck.

I also posted this on GMI which has a few silvy and sierra owners, about this group buy. Hopefully you guys can get enough to fill out that final group.
