Drivers side door overlapping?

02 gmc Sierra. Drivers side door is overlapping extended cab door on top.extended cab door looks good. There is no slop in the door it's not hinge pins or anything. How do you strengthen it. The wind noise is the worst thing about it.

  Didn't I read where if Gm does the valve body on the "Allison", you get a 10yr/150k warranty? Kinda wish mine has a minor blip around 24k. Get a free trans service, and a pile of warranty.
