New guy from MO

Hello to all,

New to the site. Recently bought a 2002 Yukon with the 5.3L and have been seeing some oil leaks. Appeared to be coming from above the oil pan so i took it to the mechanic and he came up with both valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, oil cooler block off plate gasket, and the power steering pump are leaking. I will be changing these myself and was looking for any pointers to help me on my way!

Really am not a mechanic, but i can figure out how to do and work on just about anything. Of course that is from extensive research and forums like these that i am able to fix damn near any of my problems! Any and all advice welcome.

Also, are there any parts i should be exclusively looking at and sites to order from? i do not want to put cheap shit in and have the same problems later down the road...
