Hello and I would like to introduce myself to the forum. I am currently pondering trucks out there and what is best for my purpose.

I do not have a personal truck but do drive a 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 series for my job. I was quite amazed by the development of a US manufacturer. I have a personal 2005 Toyota Sequoia and it has been trouble free knock on wood. But I suspect it will not be what I need when it comes to towing a travel trailer.

I hope to get some information and learn the bad with the good from owners and am looking hard at a 2500 series HD for my needs.

Thank you.

Welcome. You come to the right place to get answers to what you are looking for. A 2500 with a diesel is great if you plan on towing a lot.

Thank you for the welcomes! I was able to drive a friends 2015 2500HD Duramax yesterday up in Fancy Gap on some steep hills. The most surprising thing to me was it did not clack like a diesel. Was rather amazed by this alone.
