I placed the order sunday morning. I received a tracking number yesterday at noon. I attempted to check it today (should have been long enough for the package to get to ups for an arrival scan. I went to ups' website and they say it is not a valid tracking number. I then attempted to contact the seller "Redline Street Performance," and then received that email from Amazon stating the seller has left the marketplace.

Ok so I ordered Monday morning looks like I'm 24 hours behind your order so the email should hit me soon.

Im betting that after we all ordered them from seeing this post, they noticed the item selling like hotcakes and got greedy, thus the reason for the price hike..

I'm thinking the same thing.

Has anyone received a non working tracking number? My tracking number doesn't work. I also read a review and another guy got a bogus tracking number. I have reached out to them twice and so far no response.

So, great news for everyone!! I just called amazon customer support (1-866-216-1072) and explained the situation, she looked into their account and saw i am not the first person to report a fake tracking number (the c.s. rep went to ups' website and tried it herself) and then saw the seller has "left the marketplace." She submitted my claim to amazons fraud department and said it may take a week, up to two weeks to get a final decision. Well, i got a call and an email confirmation less than 3 minutes later stating they are going to refund the money, and they were able to tell we have been scammed.

So, to anyone that has ordered, contact amazon asap and they will take care of you. The lady i spoke to is Rose.

I was pretty stoked about a great deal, looks like ill just have to pay full price now..

Also, when i click on that order, it is beong sold by a differently named seller now (who is asking more money). Looks like they scam people, then switch names.. look at the answered questions down at the bottom, all of the answers are from differently named sellers..

I also called and talked to Amazon. I also expressed to Amazon that they need to get the product and sell it to me at the advertised price listed by the seller they allow to do business on their website. We will see how far this actually goes.

This is messed up. not trying to laugh at anyone but but as the saying goes if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

As someone who had dealt with shady auto parts supliers I feel your pain. make sure to always double check the vendor before giving up your CC and make sure you ALWAYS read any terms and conditions especially return and refund policies. If you click agree and order the wrong part you can easily find yourself on hook and your CC and amazon etc will side with vendor if it stated so in Terms.

I have been an Amazon customer since 2009 this is the first time I have had a problem. While I agree with your comment, I do believe Amazon holds some responsibility. They need a better way to screen the companies selling on the site and using the Amazon platform.

I ordered from Redline yesterday, and also got a cancellation notice this morning. Luckily the order hadn't moved so far along that I'm running in to the same issues others here are. If anyone is frustrated and hasn't contacted Amazon yet just do it, they will take care of you without issue.

So I logged on today to see the next cheapest vendor and there is currently a deal 'Sold and shipped by Amazon.com LLC' for $970.31 + free shipping. With tax it comes to $1,050.36. I can't remember if this was available yesterday or not, but still a pretty good deal if you ask me at 31% ($428.69) off. Especially if you look around and see that no one is selling under $1,399.00 with tax and shipping usually.

The Redline Street Performance deal is also live again, but it keeps disappearing and coming back. If you just do a search for 7615401A and refresh the results page over and over you'll see the result for that item change prices back and forth between the Prime deal and the Redline deal. If you click on the result when it shows the Prime deal it will usually land you at the Redline deal, but you can always click the Add to Cart button for any other seller on the right. (the same thing happens if you're not logged in or don't have Prime, but the item still qualifies for free shipping) Here's the direct link to the Amazon Prime deal for those who want to see the full page https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JEK5XBS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER.

Pretty sure I'm about to pull the trigger on this unless anyone can think of any way this could be a scam. 'Sold and shipped by Amazon' should mean that Amazon has already purchased the product themselves and is selling it.

EDIT: search results seem to consistently show the Redline deal now. I guess I was just searching right as the deal came back. Regardless, the Amazon deal is still available to the right or at the link I pasted.

I would call Autoanything.com and ask them if they'll match the amazon price. They usually do, then they beat that price by $1, don't charge tax, and have free shipping. At least that's what they did for me when I bought my corsa exhaust.

I just searched and the redline is nowhere to be found, amazon prime deal is there though. I may call them afterwork and ask them if they have alreafy purchased the kit and if so, may then proceed if, and only if it is a direct purchase from amazon.

I ordered mine and received same email referenced above. I looked online and in the last hour or two the price has gone from the purchase price, up to about $980, and now closer to $1,200.

Yep, Redline is gone again. The $970.31 deal is now gone as well and Amazon is now selling it for $1,177.49 on Prime. Cheapest seller now is ecustomhitch for $1,156.63 + free tax & shipping.

I hadn't finished my order at $970.31 when I refreshed the product page in another tab and saw the new price. I had already clicked check out and was choosing shipping options so I quickly finished my order and it seems to have gone through at $1,050.36 after tax directly through Amazon. Fingers crossed the order doesn't get canceled.

Called Amazon and had to initiate the claim and go thru whole process even though this item/seller has been exposed as a scam.

Please do yourself a favor and call in to start the process.

I am now waiting 48 hours for the seller to respond to my request to cancel the order. I guess we know how that will go. I am hoping Amazon steps up before that.

I ordered mine from Redline thru amazon for the full price several months ago. Quick an free shipping. No issues at all.

Maybe we should be asking B1gted...since he's the only one who actually got these boards from them?
