I have a 2017 Silverado DC on order and I would like to know what percentage window tint you guys are using? I would like the front seat windows to match the rear seat windows. Also, any preference as to the best quality brand?

Thanks.

Yea 20% is a match, I have 38% on my fronts, makes it a little less obvious to the cops (I hope, haha). I don't know what brand is on my fronts, but it is a high performance film. My rears have Hanita Sigma Pro 20 (high performance as well) for more heat rejection.

I think the best thing you can do is find a reputable shop. Someone who says they'll tint your front 2 for $50 is probably going to do subpar job and use junk tints.

3M is your best tint out there in my opinion. I personally run 5% on my fronts and then 20% on the rest of the truck to bring it down to 5%

Yes it's dark, but I am used to it. Been running 5% on my vehicles since I was 16. and that was probably 20 vehicles ago.

I don't recommend 5% unless you know what your getting into. 20% on front is a great compromise to match the factory tinted glass.
