Deep Ocean Blue Owners: Help Needed

Yeah, I know there is a wheel/tire thread and a leveled thread. But thats about 400 pages of mess and there are very few of us who have the Deep Ocean Blue trucks in comparison to other colors.

Post up your AFTERMARKET wheel/tire combo...this is more or less because I am at a roadblock in choosing a wheel finish for the truck and want to see what you all have done and maybe it will cause that dim light bulb to turn on in my head. 17-22" I dont care what you have, I'm more interested in seeing the contrast of the color/finish you chose against the blue. Normally I wouldn't be so picky but this one has me stumped as to what to do.

Top choices are a XD Bully in Grey (available), a Walker Evans Legend (Backordered/In Production with Ultra Wheel) with a machined face and black fake beadlock ring or a Raceline Monster with a machined face (waiting on availability). All 17" and wrapped in a 295/70R17 Terra Grappler since its still available in a D load range.

Method NV 17x8.5 +0 offset

Cooper ATP 285/70/17

RC level, 2".

No rubbing.

Lots more pics in my build thread. Should be pics of the black chrome wheels I had on previously as well.

The color matched trucks looks better with black rims but I think a truck with a chrome front end and handles would look great with chrome rims.

Hence my problem. My truck is identical to Waazoos. Part of me thinks the black gets lost in all of it with the tire/wheelwell etc. Other pics make it just look like crappy lighting. I know...splitting hairs lol.

If I could find a satin silver or even a bronze color, I wouldn't have black wheels. I prefer 5 spoke over 10+ spoke. I don't think it's a bad look (black) but it's just dull in my opinion.

Only chrome I have is on the bumpers. If I had chrome handles and mirrors, I would probably have gone with Chrome wheels or Polished.

I have considered getting a second set though, in chrome, so I can change my look every couple months.

I saw the Method NV in bronze, I really like that look with the DOB as well. That is on my list of possibilities as well.

Everyone puts black wheels on now, and I personally don't like all black because they are kind of hard to see, I like machined/black rims better. I would go with chrome because not many people do chrome anymore

Looking at some of these. Makes me wish I went with a smaller tire, it makes the truck look taller and more proportional

Honestly, getting rid of that snowplow of a valance makes a huge difference in the overall look of the truck and it looking taller. I'll have the Mazzulla skid on there soon. I already drag mine pulling in and out of fields on the farm and my buddy's hunt camp regularly.

275's are barely bigger then 265's, I think your truck looks proportional!
