Awesome! I love my gold bow tie and would definitely swap them if it's possible.

Received it today. Looks to be one molded/sealed piece. Don't think you can separate them.

Hmm really liking the look of this.. for the 14-15 does the wiring work the same? I know the headlights and harness are different 16 and up.

Can someone please post the installation instructions. The kit I got came with no instructions, and says to contact the dealer for the installation instructions.

Also, does anyone know if this can be installed without removing the entire grill.

I got this for Christmas, going to install it soon on a 2017 Silverado 1500.

Does the grill have to come out, is there any other way to remove the stock emblem without removing the grill or damaging anything.

Thanks

The instructions I posted a link for does show the grill needing to come out so you can remove the old emblem, measure and drill a hole for the new emblem, route wires, tie wrap etc.

Thanks for posting the installation instructions.

As far as yours lighting up, wait until night time and please post a picture of it at night. That may be normal, all the other pictures posted in this thread seems to be taken at night; so maybe that's normal.

Can anyone else post some daytime pics to compare.

Here is a night shot. In the photo it looks bright because of the exposure. But when looking straight on, looks dim.

Maybe that's by design?

I wonder if it can be separated and add a brighter led.

It's molded pretty well and as one piece.

More photos at night. This time, not in front of my garage. I think the garage was causing glare.

Overall - I am pleased with it.

Make sure you follow the instructions and drill the hole offset from center. LOL. My grill had a circular mark that resembled a hole for this bow tie.

My first one was lost in shipping, FFS been waiting for 17 days now, ebay seller was a joke. They shipped a new one and shipped it slowest fedex possible 7 days. Didnt even expedite it and they asked me to not leave a bad review ha.

Yes. Instructions called for it as you'll need to drill a hole and run the wires. I watched a video on grill removal and it was a breeze.

I was cursing at the headlamp harness as I couldn't remove the connector. Even with the red lock tab unlocked, it still fought me.
