Anyone Have The New GM Illuminated Bowties?

Considering we never get to see them unless we lock/unlock with FOB at night... There is no loss in brightness as they tap the park lamp signal. They are not super bright like depicted in the pictures as they are an accent item. They look nice. I do get head turners/double takers for sure.

I paid $275 for mine closer to when it was first posted on here. If you're bow ties are already black, you can sell your stock front and new rear (that's comes in the kit) and recoup some $.

I love it, it's expensive but it makes my truck that much more different from all the others on the road, would buy again.

Mine aren't black so I would be paying the price I'm just concerned about the brightness in person....

Here's mine., I love my illuminated bow tie. I'm actually having mixed feelings about it. It looks awesome at night but you really can't see it ‍♂️. Anyways if you have the [emoji383] go for it.[emoji1303]

Ya I agree here daytime looks like it's not illuminated but when the sun drops it really cool looking and bright.

Yea, I still like it. I do a lot of night driving, so I get some good use out of it.

But if you never Drive your truck at night, no one would ever see it illuminated.

Saw them on ebay $229.00 plus shipping. I got a 14 not sure I would but them anyway. Just painted to match.

Exactly the same. The only difference is the headlamp connector size between 1500/2500 between the part #s.

14/15 trucks have a larger headlamp connector that are identical to 16/17 - 2500 trucks.

Install is the same in either.

These, that are posted, seem to be much brighter than the one I saw the other night, couldn't see it until just before they went by me.  Seeing the ones in this thread, I may just get myself one.  Did any of you do anything to brighten them up, or is that their actual brightness?
