New Leaf Springs (Stock Height)

Does anyone know a good source to buy a set of leaf springs? I'm just looking for the stock height... just like OEM.. but NOT GM. I'm tired of dealing with the creaks and noise from the rear springs. I have had 2 of these trucks both at the dealer multiple times for the issue. They have replaced the springs and the issue just comes back. The OEM springs/bushings are awful once any real dirt touches them.

You could try National Spring or Deaver. Im sure there are more companies out there, you'll just have to dig deeper.

Wash the springs good and spray them with silicone spray a couple of times a year.

Don't waste your money I have no issues with mine.

lol... I have been doing that with 2 different trucks over the last 3 years. The pressure wash and lube trick works a few days for me since I'm always driving down dusty dirt roads.

Have you possibly tried replacing the rear struts? My 2007 Sierra rear end creaked going over bumps, but since I replaced the struts its been silent.

Yep.. been there done that. It's 110% the springs.. in particular the bushings in the springs.

It appears to me that there are small local businesses that exist for the main purpose of making springs for vehicles. I had to replace the springs on my last truck and my 50 year old utility trailer. Both sets were fabricated in a "spring" shop a few blocks from where I live. Maybe this is not common but I know of a couple of similar shops within close proximity.

Tampa Spring. They are a custom HD Truck spring shop and IIRC will make springs to whatever flavor you want. I would try buying some Energy suspension leaf spring bushings first though..... I put them on my '89 K5 with leafs all around they are great.

It's the bushings like you said. Just press bushings out and replace them with poly and the problem will be solved. Yeah it's a pain in the ass but that's what it's going to take. When the spring compresses and the shackle goes to rotate, the inner bushing sleeve cannot rotate since it's vulcanized to the rubber bushing and it causes the creaky rubber noise you hear.

The front bushings should be fine, it's the rear spring loop and the rear shackle bushings should be replaced with aftermarket.
