Heated seats don't heat

I am wondering if the dealer is giving a line of bull. I have a 2015 Denali 2500 HD. The heated seats take forever to heat up. I was told this is normal for the 2015's. I'm thinking that if they can't fix the seats they need to replace them. Has anyone else had this problem?

My 14 tends to take as long as 10 minutes to start actually feeling heat depending on outside ambient temp

My 15 HD seats get too warm within 10-15 minutes and I lower the setting to 1 or off

My 2014 SLT heated seat operation was pretty poor it took a long time and they never really heated much at all in remote start. They have changed something on this 2016 Denali the seat is actually warm (Not Hot but warm) after a remote start and then heats up to hot very quickly after you sit in it for a few moments. i am very pleased with the improvement. Love that heated steering wheel feature also my old hands appreciate that very much!

When I had my '15 GMC 1500, the seater heater was awesome and heated up quickly. I miss it sometimes.

Same here. 10-15 minutes I'm shutting it off or setting it to 1 also.

I had an issue with mine, they did a programming update at the dealer and it fixed it

My driver seat heating element in my 2015 3500 with 36,200 miles on it is dead and they want 700 bucks to fix it. To say the least I'm not happy with GM.

My 2014 was slow. The 2016 heats up much faster.

 

I assume they are using a different heating pad in the 2016's

My 16 heats super fast.. 5 mins and im turning it off.

My 2016 is noticeable instantly. I don't really like using them but the fact that they heat the seats during remote start is kind of nice.

Seems the heating element s (?) even brand new are very inconsistent in quality and output - for years they have been not all equal ... in any manner

Interesting feedback. My wife has a 10' Enclave. Seats are much warmer than my 15 GMC. In fact, when in the Enclave, I have to lower it. When in the GMC, I have to check that they are on. Maybe I should have them looked at
