Good Deal? 5.3 4x4 Silverado

So I just purchased a brand new 2016 Silverado 1500 z71 4x4 with the 5.3l engine for 34K after taxes/fees. It had a MSRP of 49K. it was a leftover z71 in deep ocean blue with a double cab, 4wd, paint matched bumpers, fog lights, spray in bed liner, tinted windows, chevy version of weather tech mats, tow package, and a few other extras too that I can't think of right now. I feel like I got a pretty great deal and I could not pass it up. I was just wondering if this was solid price or not.

This is my first chevy so I didn't know if it was common for them to be this cheap. I found one for 35k that was red tagged but it sold before I got there. I used that against them and tried my best to beat them down. Took 6 hours to get them from 38.5K to 34K after taxes but it was worth it! I've had the truck for two weeks now and I love it

that is a great price. It seems if sales realizes you know what you want, it can get knocked down.

 

my dad recently got a 2016gmc, very similar.. but has a g80 diff.

We both wanted the real lever for the 4x4 on the floor,

passed on fancy wheels, etc etc

 

I pulled in with a 357000 miles GMC, a hurst shifter manual 5 speed.

in november i got a 2016 GMC Sierra SLT Double Cab...MSRP 47370. got 14k (30%) off. had to pay a 269 document prep fee. then i had to pays 7% New york sales tax when i register it.
