Aren't they coming out with a new Raptor? I would just try and get on a waitlist for that personally.

Yes, if you have $70k+ laying around.

Ha, more than that. Mark ups are insane on them right now.

Spend 50k on a silverado, throw 30 grand at it and walk all over a Raptor. AND not drive a Ford or be like every other raptor on the road.

They are starting around $50k from what I have seen. There isn't going to be 20k markup from MSRP like Godzilla... that is very rare.

I think you missed his point. He said he doesn't have 70k so what makes you think he would have 80k?

I didn't miss the point. I'm saying if you were to throw 70k at a truck might as well do so on a silverado.

LOL, I can find you tons of dealerships that throw a lift and tires on a Silverado and put a 30k markup on it as well. Doesn't mean it will sell for that. They think it will based on demand but the new Raptor does not offer anything that warrants that price tag. Time will tell but I am betting they go for much much closer to MSRP.

We'll see! I was considering one pretty heavily but none of the dealers wanted to budge on price and they had production delays.

I'll probably wait a few years and re-evaluate but yeah, the markups right now are absolutely insane. $70k is the low end right now.

I could like me a Raptor for sure. They look killer in person. Gimme one of the all steel body versions though, thank you.

Icon extended travel coilovers with CDCV, Dirt King UCA, Icon extended rear shocks with CDCV , shackles for better axle travel and deaver leaf springs. I have my coilovers and Dirt king UCA on order.

This is basically the route I'm leaning. Think I'm going to stick with the non-res coilovers though. Those would honestly be overkill for anything I'll be doing.

Any particular reason why the Dirt King over Icon's UCA?
