Would you recommend a custom tune by diablew

Can't speak to Diablew, but can highly recommend a tune from Blackbear. Transmission shifting smoothed right out, no more clunking gears or AFM, and a smoother power delivery. Pulls much harder in the mid range than it did before.

I hear good things about bb, but I got a diablo for a good price. Could they use the diablo hand held?

As far as I know they work strictly with EFI Live software and handhelds

Diablew did great work back when I was on the LS1tech forum. I'm sure he's only gotten better.

Usually he responds with a tune within a day unless it's a weekend or holiday. Often within a few hours

Lew is quick and easy to deal with. I have a diablo but haven't had Lew tune it yet, I'm just lazy.

I too have yet to get a tune with Lew, but he has been very patient with me.

I asked him a boatload of questions before deciding on going with him for a custom tune.

 

He's very patient and gets back to you quickly.

I have used both, but I am currently using Black Bear Performance, and I am very pleased.
