We talked about it a bit when news broke that Ford was going to do the Bronco again. Very doubtful GM would do a Blazer thing again unless they saw the potential for it to sell enough to make some $$$ off of. People just don't have the interest in the full sized 2-Door SUVs. That's why they stopped production of it back in 94/95. Toyota did the FJ for a few years but then due to low sales they axed it. Ford will do the same with the Bronco. It will sell a few for the first 2 or 3 years and then.. done. Probably won't make enough off of it to have justified the re-tooling and crap. Yes yes yes, it would probably be very cool for the few thousand people who would buy one but nowhere near enough interest to warrant production.

My father has many of the old K5 blazers. He like the 1975 or old ones, because 1975 was the last year of a full removable top. He had a couple in the mid 80's too, I grew up riding in them. I sure do miss those K5 blazers. I always thought the S10 blazers never counted as a true blazer. I'm one of those people who wish they'd bring'em back.

I've heard people call their Trailblazer a Blazer. Blasphemy!

They might build and offer it somewhere else...

Dodge made a Ramcharger for several years after they dropped the line in the US, and even based it on the new body-style at that time (the 94+ truck styling)...but it was only ever offered in Mexico and a few other small countries and was only 2wd. Rumor at the time was it wouldn't meet US safety standards.

There are a lot of models offered elsewhere that never see the US...
