Has much as I hate Ford products ass holes love them and easy as hell to sell once there fixed that is will finally start fixing this junk exploder I bought for $500 with bad timing chains and not running Monday. Can't wait till it's done to buy another piece of pile to fix and sell. The Ford is getting the engine pulled and fixed new sensors chains guides gears covers. Heads will get pulled and redone I think haven't decided yet. Entire front end control arms with ball joints links inner, outer tie rods shocks all way around brakes all way around, and tires. Hopefully that's it. Already got some guy to buy it. Don't know why people love these shit boxes but **** it.

That's funny, I definitely prefer GM in my business most people I dealt seemed to prefer fords 3/4 - 1 tons. They were usually over loaded and had tons of miles. They usually backed up crews that worked with land clearing equipment on different projects. If their trucks don't run they lose lots of money per day. Needless to say their going to buy the truck that they can depend on no matter what brand. There not usually the cheapest. Junks there not, work horses yes. I still own GM, mostly for performance.

One of my relatives owns an excavating business and all he buys are Fords, and he has nothing but trouble with just about every one he buys. Makes no sense to me.

That doesn't make sense, any profitable business person isn't going to keep buying products that fail.

We had a 1992 Exploder. Aside from a crappy 4WD, it was a good vehicle. The 4.0L V6 was very solid.

It sure doesn't, and we were always at a loss as to why he kept buying them. My Dad worked for him as a mechanic for a few years, and on and off before that. He hated every thing about working on the Ford's. We're also talking about a guy whose machines leak gallons upon gallons of oil every day, but he refuses to fix them. Simply put he's an idiot.
