2017 Denali Ultimate highway vibration

New Denali owner here. I've had the Ultimate for 3 weeks and for some reason when going between 75-80 on the highway there is sometimes a good shaking on the passenger side. I don't think it's out of balance tires because the steering wheel doesn't shake, but that is what it feels like. The strange thing is is it comes and goes. Other than that speed the truck is smooth as could be. Any thoughts?

Speed up?

Most likely tire balance. It could be in the rear or the right side and not be felt in steering wheel. Have your dealer take a look.

If you have crap tires like I do, you may have a square one. I am bringing mine back to the dealer next week.

Its a tire or a possibly a rim of our round. Had the same issue at the same exact speeds with a set of Michelin LTX tires, even after road force balancing. One balanced to 19lbs, and the shop could never get it lower. I replaced all four tires last December, and the new shop got all four under 10ft/lbs in the RF balancing. Super smooth now, even at 85mph (which is legal here), and higher.

Agreed ! Probably tires if only felt at highway speeds. But I bet it is a drivers front tire, had the same on my 16 LTZ CC. My local dealer put the PICO meter on it to isolate the vibration, then roadforced balanced the tires and found 1 bad one which they replaced, (DR FRT ) it was over 26, now they are down to 12- 14.

Truck now drives as it should !

If only there was a similar question asked with numerous threads discussing this very same issue, where would I look? Hmm....

I sit back and read threads, If I feel I have some good info I will usually comment. Every single thread I read that you have commented on, it's negative trying to make someone feel like an idiot or you are so irritated with people's questions. I just don't comment if I can't help anyone. Why are you so mad all the time? Go get a puppy or a cat or something.

Just an FYI - if you put in neutral and shake is still there probably ( but not always) tire balance. Seat of the pants shake is normally rear and steering wheel possibly front. Just a good rule of thumb.

I have the same problem on my 2017 Sierra Denali with 27k. Figured it was tires so I balanced them at work still had vibration... ok tires are factory. Changed them and added level kit.... still have issue.
