Bedliner Questions

I was reading and it looks like a lot of people were paying 600 or so for the premium line x with the UV protection. Seems like a good investment to me, but I'm still trying to decide myself. I bought used, truck came with a drop in liner with a cover on the bed. I'd like to ditch both and get a cap and spray in liner.

The bedbug does look nice though. I would consider it.

I also went with the Bullet Liner. Did tons of extensive research on the different brands, read countless forums, testimonials, and spoke to tons of friends with experience in different brands. I'm VERY happy with the bullet liner. VERY thick and scratch resistant, has great texture, perfect slip/hold ratio, and is a good color between flat and gloss. If you find an experienced guy in your area that knows how to prep and spray the liner right, go with Bullet, you'll be happy.

Have had Rhino in the past, always liked it, now have the factory "Line-x". Seems to be holding up well, but one thing, I have always had the GM mat on top of the liner, best way to keep things from sliding around in the bed.

Another vote for Line-X........... The factory liner with the Chevy bowtie logo sucked me in - but Line-X is smoother and 50% thicker.........

I had running boards sprayed on two classic trucks - really works great for apps like that................

I've had LineX in my truck since 2002. Works like a champ and I still get compliments on it. It also increases the value of your truck. Tell the installer about your concerns with drains, bolts, etc. and they can make them all accessible and usable. I had mine sprayed over the top of the rail as well.

My truck came with the factory bed-liner and I love it!! I would highly recommend getting a sprayed on liner. They are far more durable and you won't have to worry about dinging or scratching your bed.

I have had plastic drop in liners in the 6 trucks I have owned since 1987 so in 07 I figured I would try a spray in yeah it looked nice till I dropped and log about as round as a football and about 2 feet long from about a 2 foot drop resulted and big dent in the floor of my bed as big as a softball, never again will I get another spray in (Line-x) I have been sticking with drop-ins and NEVER had a problem with rust as others say in-between the liner and the bed.

A friend of mine has a spray-in and he got a load of red mulch now his liner is stained dark red and its still like that today and that was about 4 years ago even he said "no more spray-ins for me".

I echo the same thoughts. This Rhinoliner Hardliner is my first sprayed, I would not go out of my way to get one if I already had a drop-in. I never had an issue with rust on a slide in, even with 300k miles.

I have a couple dents, and a couple gouges...dents that wouldn't have happened with a drop-in.

I just loaded two 8 foot cherry logs that weighed probably 500 lbs each. I was sure glad for the slippery surface of the drop in liner. But I also hate the drop in too and am looking for a spray in. I think whatever option you go, get the rubber mat to go on top of it. They are cheap and can always be removed to clean
