Another exhaust topic. thinking of changing

Ok guys i got a question thinking of redoing my exhaust probably over axle dump using the factory setup until i can go duals.

I do like my flowmaster and it has little to no drone and sounds decent . but it could be a touch louder all the way around. or will i gain anything by swapping it with the res or going spin tech.

 

Resonator- I would have to add y-pipe setup cheapest

Spin tech-would have dual exit decent priced

Qtp screamer-expensive but would allow me to change my tone. Not sure how loud it is with cutout closed but will cost me a lot of money to try..

 

Will probably end up going long tubes eventually as well.

Well i did some testing and it does seem stable enough. Still not sure on cut placement. Going to see about cutting it tomorrow

Well i ended up cutting my exhaust its clean looking now thinking black tip? And it sounds meaner

I did notice drone is slightly more noticeable vs stock exit but its manageable

Well yall might laugh and its ok, but I bought a AutoZone tip for $33 clamp on. I love the tip i just wish it was welded on maybe someday...

Exhaust has a more "finished" look and the price of tip is very reasonable IMO.??

Yep they had chrome but figured black would look better. And its a little shorter.

 

The sound is roughly the same. Maybe different if it was welded on?

Sound wont change too much if welded on. Tip looks great, cant beat that deal.

True its a great deal, lucky you cant tell if its clamped or not. So i may put off on welding it until i decide to swap mufflers out.
