Installed my Borla S-Type a few days ago and I love it. I really wanted the Touring but wanted side exit. Gotta say I'm glad I went this route. Hardly noticeable over my MT's at hwy speed.

I went with the dual back borla and took it to a muffler shop so that they can bend my exhaust the way I wanted

That does look good - the Texas longhorn look.......... I emailed Borla customer service and asked for 2017 Silverado what is the difference between Touring direct from Borla, and the GM Borla you installed. Here is the reply:

 

The muffler is different, and the GM system has a flapper valve. The sound is very close.

They charged me $40 to bend the pipes and weld everything on it really don't trust the bolts afraid they might come loose lol

I have the S type.. dual side exit on the passenger side.. love the setup.. get a lot of compliments on the sound.. been running it a year now and it seems to sound better all the time

just ordered the s type should be here monday, wanted the atak but it seemed loud on start up & i didnt want to p/o the neighbors at 600am leaving for work!

I was torn between the S-Type and the Atak as well. Chose the S-Type for the same reason. You'll be happy with it. Great sound! The Touring is too quiet and too much like stock from what I've seen/heard.
