Signed papers today...

I signed papers today to buy a 2017 Silverado LTZ 2LZ. I managed to get a great deal and more than a fair offer on my 06 Titan. They have to try a locate and then possibly if they can't find one a factory order. Pretty stoked though. This will be the first domestic I've owned is 20 years.....

Pretty sure it's the 2LZ, it's the one below the High Country. I'm hopeful, they seemed confident but we'll have to see. With truck month on dealers may want to hang onto their stock. Anyway I know they will find something.

You are correct. 2LZ Z71 is what I have. Find a loaded one and you have a Chevy Denali. Only options you will not be able to get are the power assist steps and magnetic ride control. You will be very happy with that option package!

Welcome! It sounds like you will have a nice truck. Is there some flexibility in the paperwork you've signed in case your dealer finds a vehicle close to your agreed upon purchase?

What about the digital 8 inch driver screen? Pretty sure I have read the Denali has upgraded leather and 12 way power seats versus 10 on the SLT? That is a few thousand dollars in extras...

I'm sure they'll call me and let me know. They basically said they'd locate and if not do a factory order. The one sticking point I think for the locate is going to come down to the rims. I've went with the standard 18's, and from looking around the net it seems most 2LZs have 20's which is the option. Oh well....

Happy with the look and ride quality on 20's........ Going in I was like you, rather had 18's........

Yeah they do look nice. I have managed to find a few in Northern Ontario and Quebec, which makes sense given their need for snow tires and generally speaking terrible roads. Anyway maybe they will call me and tell me I have to pay for them or wait.........
