I'm exploring getting a sports car again, I just miss the power.

 

I could maybe swing keeping both, but am just curious what you think my trade value might be?

 

No accidents, 35k miles.

Go to carmax and have them appraise that's what any dealer with try to give you, add taxes to it and that's what you should expect from a private sale

Went through carmax recently and they ended up being the same as KBB for dealer cash offer.

What did you do buy a truck with the 4.3 engine? You can easily get 450hp out of the 6.2. Have you driven one?

I traded in my 2015 ext cab 2wd exactly one year after I bought it to get my 2016 z71 4x4 CCSB. And I got exactly what I paid for it lol 15k miles on it and a year old, got $32k. But of course some ppl on here know that I do detailing a lot so the truck was in better than new condition.

Three different dealerships offered $24-25K for my 2007.5 Duramax in trade for the 2017 Max Tow. I sold it for $30K just 4 days after ordering the Max Tow. Even with the sales tax advantage I did better - they were not going to pay the $27,500 to make it the same and certainly not going to pay $30K retail..........

My truck is a 5.3, with close to 6.2 power.

 

With that said, it's not just the power I miss from a sports car. It's the all around performance.

 

Don't get me wrong, I really like this truck. I've done a lot to get it where it is. If I can swing both, I will. Depends on what I can get the car I want for.

I know how you feel. I came from supercharged Audi s4 with a dual pulley. I would give up my truck in a heart beat for a 11 sec daily driving comfortable car. Too bad it won't pull a 34' TT
