Need your opinions on my vinyl wrap project

Recommended Posts

Im looking to get some opinions on my vinyl wrap project I have going. So at first I had the drivers and passengers side the same ( just the space between the front and rear doors) Then I thought it would look good making it look like it was one piece of glass the whole way around (drivers side in pictures). My window tint is 5% all the way around with a 5% brow on windshield and the remainder of the windshield 50%. Im on the fence on if I should continue and do the passengers side or remove the drivers side and go back to just the space between the doors done. I can't decide and seeing what you guys think, thanks!

I think just between the doors looks better. My vinyl just came in and I plan on doing the same.

I think between the doors looks good, even continuing around the rear of the cab but I'd leave the A pillar alone.

sharp truck, passenger is best.

kinda funny how last truck I had (tundra) everyone wanted to remove the vinyl between the doors. And ones without them

like these they want to put it there.

my 02 not a fan of vinyl between them, though I never really cared one way or the other but in a way it reminds me of Ford Flex when all that gets blacked out.

Just between the doors look good. With the A-pillars and the back part, it kinda looks like it's wearing a mask, like the one that just goes over your eyes and you tie it at the back.. js... :ninja:

The Ford Flex was also the first thing that came to mind to me as well, but I like that look a lot. I think it makes the truck look almost limo like.

When I had a 2010 Ford everyone wanted body color b-pillar covers.

Now I have a GM and everyone wants black p-pillar covers...

I personally like the stock look over both your drivers and passenger options above... but that's my 2 pennies...

The B pillar looks great like that, it's just like the all terrain x... but when you do the back, i hate to say it, but it looks like a ford flex

It has a unique look! If you like it, keep it. I would be inclined to do the roof black as well. My favorite truck (color wise) was a two-tone black and white!

Thanks for the help everyone, I removed the drivers side this morning and now is back to just between the doors. After the mentioned the Ford flex I noticed it does look like that haha. I'll probably use the remaining to wrap the wood accents on the interior. I would love to do a full matte black wrap but I'm not paying to have someone do it and my skills aren't good enough to tackle something like that yet!

I bought the 3m knife less tape and works great for the clean even lines. Good luck with the wrap!
