Looking for suv suggestions

Looking for a suv that will allow more room for family but give me the towing capacity of about 12k or so. Any suggestions?

Until the Excursion comes out, your only option is a HD crew cab with a camper. And you'll need a CDL if you don't have one.

I think it comes down to a difference in the frames between a suburban and truck...the suburban frame at the tail won't allow for a substantial hitch to be installed?

if you are going to be towing 12k I would get a 2500 and put a cap on it. or find a diesel excursion.

not many newer options to tow 12k with, other then maybe a passenger express van with a duramax. don't even know if that can tow 12k!

My '01 2500 Suburban with the 6.0L is 10K, if it had the 8.1L then it would be 12K.
