2016 Silverado @ 20,500 miles on the odometer

My 2016 Silverado finally hit 20,000+ trouble free miles and I'm just as happy with it as I was when I first test drove it . My truck has a Zone 6.5 lift with BFG Ko2 35's and Method NV 20's, the ride quality has stiffened up more now with the lift, so no, i'm not part of the group of drivers who claim their truck drives better lifted than stock. Don't get me wrong, still handles and drives great for the lift with stock shocks.

No vibrations

No Stabilitrak issues.

This is my 2nd Chevrolet truck, thanks Chevy!post-125159-0-12320900-1496511197_thumb.jpgpost-125159-0-29987600-1496511203_thumb.jpgpost-125159-0-25757000-1496511209_thumb.jpgpost-125159-0-78198700-1496511212_thumb.jpg

Looks good man, congrats!

I just turned 20k on my '14, only problem I'm having is my darn drivers seat moving around, haven't been back to the dealer since I bought it 3 years ago.

There is a bulletin on the seat problem so out should be a free fix. They just fixed mine.

Nice truck and modifications! I believe many trouble free miles with GM trucks is the norm! A few of us will write in and report how well our trucks are running but more will submit complaints. It makes sense that people will ask for help but it is also great to hear the good stuff! Congratulations!

I have noticed this several times, maybe happens once every week or two, (3.5 years only 27,000 miles) and seems to happen when I turn a corner. Is the fix something to do with the front of the seat? I think I seen a post about someone using some hose clamps to fix this issue... I apologizes if I am hijacking this thread.

A good friend of mine is a mechanic at my local dealer, and did the fix. Basically the plastic pieces that allow us to adjust the seat has too much play in them. I don't know what he did to fix mine, but I haven't had any issues with it since.

Nice looking truck! My 15 HD 2500 has 19,600 on it, most of those miles are towing our heavy 32' TT from Mi. to Fla & back every winter & hauling our 72 Camaro to the drag strip. Only 1 recall & that was to check the brake pivot bolt assy. So far it has been a super good truck.

Actually, it's 100% better with the Topper, Catch Can, Bilsteins all around, Airaid MIT the HELLWIG SWAY BAR ****ING ROCKS! And finally the GAS PEDAL MOD.....Love this thing right now it's 21.8mpg's crazy!

Do you have the multiple memory drivers seat? Check in the settings to make sure it isn't set to help you get in and out, somehow my wife's set itself to on. So it would revert to that lower position every time you turned it off.

Nah, no memory seats. Just moves left to right when going around corners. Same problem others are having. Didn't bother me at first, but it's definitely getting worse.

I've had mine for almost 3 years now and still have not hit the 20k mile mark but I'm getting there! The only problems I have really had is the back up camera staying on when I put it in drive. Have to pull over and turn the truck off and back on for it to go away. I am sure the dealership will not be able to "replicate" the problem so I have just lived with it.

They may not be able to replicate the problem but there should be situations such as this when the customer's description is enough to initiate a work order. I would definitely have it repaired before your warranty expires. At the very least, make sure they have your concern recorded. This could save you some money if your electronics implode shortly after your warranty expires!

I plan on doing this as well as get a few other things looked at before my warranty goes out in late August. I am also concerned about the AC line problems others are having and need to try and figure out where the rub occurs at. If there is noticeable damage then I may be able to get that fixed as well. I also have an issue with my tailgate, the torsion bar doesn't work like it once did.
