33x12.5 20 rubbing UCA.... Cognitos maybe?

Ok folks. I'm running a 2" motofab lower spacer and Bilstein at the .75"ish lift.

Wheels are 20x9 +18 XD Delta's with 33x12.5 Toyo RTs.

At full lock the tire is contacting the UCA just slightly. I'm curious if the cognito or any other tubular UCA will give me that tiny bit of room I need.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't think Cognitos will give you more room. I put them on and still have my stock tires/wheels on for the moment, and they are pretty tight with the stock SLT setup.

I'm guessing you have stamped steel UCAs? It seems like stock UCA rubbing issues happen with those more than the cast steel.

Yes they are stamped steel.... If I can get an 1/8" of room over the factory stuff they won't rub.

I think the right answer is a +6 offset or a RCX 1/4" spacer.

New wheels are out of the question at this point and you can't run a thin spacer with hubcentric wheels.

Wonder if you could swap the stamped ones out for the cast steel arms, not the aluminum ones.

Hmmmmm that's a thought. I would need the uppers and lowers. I wonder what else is different.

Digging through part numbers I can get aluminum uppers and lowers for about 600. I can go to the Delco cast steel for about 315 uppers and lowers but I have no idea if it would work.

Spacer is your best option. But you might move your point of contact from the uca to the fenders. It's just a big tire

I can't remember what, but something is different with the mounting or something for the aluminum arms. It may just be the bolts, but could be the mounts to the frame. I'm not sure, but I know something is different between the steel arms and aluminum arms. That's why I said the cast steel arms and not the aluminum. Also since you said only the UCA rub you could just get cast uppers and leave the stamped lowers.

1/4" Spacer

1/4 spacer is the cheap way out, but that did get me thinking.

I want the wheels to remain hub-centric. I believe I have found a way around this.

Machining a .250 spacer with the proper 78.3mm factory hub bore and then machine a larger 106.25mm "lip" on the outside to center the wheel which would fit the hub bore of the wheel. In theory this should work now I just have to figure out if 6mm will get me where I need to be.
