P0307P050D cel 2016 silverado

2016 silverado 42900 miles

 

For 2 weeks I have been getting P050D ( rough idle cold start) but twice I got P0307 ( misfire cylinder #7) I checked my warranty papers and i have ( wrap premier) which seems to cover pretty much everything to 84 months or 125000 miles.

 

I called the dealer today and he wants me to bring it in in the morning. The codes have been cleared. Question #1 Will they be able to pull history of the codes because I don't want to hear ( we can't replicate the issue) so I wonder if I need to wait for the codes to pop up again.

#2 they want to shuttle me home? I've never heard of this... this is my only vehicle and I can't be stranded since I work 7 days a week... has anyone ran into this shuttle problem?

The shuttle is a courtesy service that the dealer gives. The shuttle takes you home so you don't wait at the dealer. Everytime I go to the dealer they ask if I need a ride home. It sounds like you should ask the dealer if they offer loaners.

Or if they don't offer loaners, they probably will get you a rental car (they pay for the rental) from a firm they routinely do business with.

From my experience most dealers will only give you a loner if it's under 3yr/36,000 warranty. (Factory)

You will likely need to wait for the code to clear, if it's the injector issue, which is what usually triggers the cold start misfire code, it will come back.

 

I always tell them I need a loaner.
