Headlight Trouble

Having trouble with the headlights on my 02 1500. The lights go off when I tilt the wheel down. They workgreat when the wheel is tilted all the way up but when I try to tilt the wheel down the lights go out. Anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like a short circuit. I'd say either a wire is getting caught in the tilt mechanism, or a circuit board has a bad connection and when you tilt the wheel, it puts tension on the board, or a wire connected to it's harness, and it kills the lights. Pop the lower panel off, turn the lights on, and carefully move things around (tilt the wheel) until the lights go off.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Just thought I'd see if it was a common problem before I get carried away chasing the trouble.
