My 2015 1500 came with the stock bumper, no foglights. I want to swap it to the bumper with foglights but alot of the ones I'm seeing on ebay for example come with the parking sensors. Since my truck didn't come with parking sensors what would be needed to make this happen and more importantly is it even worth it to install the parking sensors and simply keep looking for a bumper with foglights minus the parking sensors???

Simply curious.

I have rear factory sensor and did the same with a front bumper swap. Haven't been successfully in adding. There is a module that is behind the rear passenger seat. Since you don't have sensors, you won't have this module. There is wiring between the sensors and this module, plus additional programming of that module. There may be some cluster programming too for the visual indicator of the sensor. I have (1) sensor for the front to test the add on, purchased a new module that accommodates both inputs (front and back). Since the front takes (4) sensors, having only 1 plugged triggers an error since the other 3 are "'missing. I haven't had time since to order 3 more to test it fully.

Here is a pic of both sensor modules. The one with the extra input is what I'm trying to retrofit and add.

Mine is currently saying service rear parking something. From what I read, I must take it to a dealer to get it checked out. Lucky for me, I don't have a dealer where I live. :nonod:

I added aftermarket for $16 of amazon and it works good. I have ordered the factory upfitter switches so I can make it function like factory yet but I will be soon.

Curious if you were able to get this to work?

MiamiSilverado...here's another idea. Purchase that bumper with the parking sensors and remove them...fill the holes with small round flush mount LED lights with a switch in the cab...

Add your fogs you purchased and now you have even more light on the front end...

just need to add the new wiring harness and get the module programmed to your truck.

I would reread what pgamboa said and look for a bumper without the sensor holes.  If he hasn't got them working yet, I wouldn't attempt such a project!

he's gotten them working.  he has an install thread where he outlined needing to run a new wire harness and running some new wires. and also having his module programmed by MVI

You're right, thank you.   I forgot to look at the dates on these comments.

Yep - I got them to work. Here is the video I made on them. My module did die on me though, so when I get free time (lol), I’ll be getting another module and getting it programmed by WAMS (GTPPrix)

Hey Phill,

If I have rear parking assist, will that make front sensors easier to install?

If you have rear sensors, then you’re like me. I had to get the new park assist module programmed by WAMS. www.whiteautoandmedia.com. You’ll want to find a module from the same year. I advise you email WAMS first for fitment and pricing before you dive into this.
