When you go to Laura , look for the US map with all the marker pins , they mark locations of past buyers, you might be a little surprised where people traveled . Me , I flew in from Ct. , drove off the lot , got on the hwy and set cruise control at 75 and. Drove 966 mi home! Don't worry about it!

Just take the back roads. Plenty of scenic back roads to enjoy!

Not sure scenic and central IL really go together, but I agree no matter where you are there is something about the two lanes that you just don't get on the interstate. I have family in Peoria and Springfield areas and unless your Amish there's just not much to see outside the occasional windmill farm.

Back roads for 300 miles? In a pickup truck? In middle earth flat country?

Rather jump off a bridge

Just put down a $500 deposit to hold it for pick up on Saturday, just really hoping it doesn't have the vibration issue everyone talks about on here :fingersx:

I am on my 4th truck in this platform. From my own experience making them fix the vibrations on all three trucks prior to my new one, it's the tires. On my last truck I think they were up to 9 tires before I went nuts. The fix is to buy Michelin Defender tires and all the issues stop. Plus the ride gets more compliant, they are quieter, and are great in the rain. I was stuck on principle and the fact was I had to be inconvenienced over a dozen times with trips to the dealer. My new truck has 20"continentals and I have to admit they are smooth and vibration free. I will be putting on 22's and Michelins soon. The other trucks had Bridgstones and Goodyears and it was a tie for which was worse but horrible tires. Even brand new replacement tires couldn't be road force balanced, they were that bad. So keep that in mind.

I drive it like I stole it right off the bat, hopefully if there is a weak point my 'hard use' will make it show up before the warranty runs out lol.
