Newbie with 2017 LTZ Z71, 6.2

I picked up a used 2017 last week, 5000 miles on it. I had given up on getting what I wanted - 6.2 LTZ Z71 - as a new one was outside of the budget I was setting for myself. Then I found this on Autotrader at AutoNation here in AZ. I grabbed it as soon as I could.

 

It seems to have all of the options that would come on the High Country too, including the Lane Keep Assist, Navigation, wireless charging, heated steering wheel (not exactly important in Phoenix).

 

Not going to do much to mod this truck as that's what my Hummer H3 is for - modding for off road. Got running boards coming for the truck tomorrow. Ironically, the boards or nerf bars for the H3 are almost worthless as people try and take them off. On the Silverado, I want them even with the lower step-in height.

 

I'll probably update some of the exterior lights to LED, like the reverse, license, cargo and 3rd brake lights. It could use a shiny exhaust tip. Hard wiring the dash cam and radar detector will probably happen this weekend.

 

I just traded in a 15 Camaro convertible 2SS/RS for this. I needed a bit more practicality even though I have the H3. The Hummer just isn't good for the long road trips I like to do, and I usually take my pup along with me. Parker (the pup) has already had a few rides in it and the pic below shows him a bit tired after a trip to the dog park.

 

I don't have much for pics yet so this will have to do.

Very nice truck! A Silverado LTZ is what I originally had my eyes on but I got a better deal on the GMC SLT at the time because of the incentives, no regrets here.
