Touch Screen Works Intermittently

My 2015 Sierra 2500HD diesel 4x4 touch screen does not work when trying to touch screen to change radio stations.  The screen also changes at will, say from radio to clock.  The touch screen part works intermittently.  When I need to change the radio channel I press "Home" button and start over.  Also, I use the steering wheel paddles. The dealer put in an updated program but that did not do the job.  Also, the screen in the instrument cluster also changes at will.  I bought the truck new and this problem just started about 2 weeks ago.   Everything else works great to-date.

Likely needs a new radio display as it sounds like it is doing a “phantom touch” (where it selects an option on the screen with no input from you).

GMC dealer finally determined the cause of the intermittent problem of the touch screen.  You were right racetrk!  They replaced the radio and it fixed the problem.
