Dumbest Special Edition Silverado

My vote would go to the "Real Tree" edition. Spend $3,000 to advertise a clothing manufacturer. How dumb is that?

I find a lot of the special editions to be just tacky. The RedLine and RealTree top the list though.

I’d have to say that the “ZR4 Interceptor” is at the top of my list for being the worst collaboration between Chevy and ALC... Custom this and custom that are only amount to just add-ons with a hefty price tag. Nothing custom at all... I’d much rather do it myself and have my truck reflect my own vision....89e84a6d912b3b48d5e12c1b4f042bbb.jpg8d57ba7e0c23913db1c7bf2727d8878a.jpg57bd24a97173c2185257bacb5f92b771.jpg4207f302efa10a62eb63c15c53a6ffca.jpgb67944db1cc2c8161a8948bce5a76bc6.jpg

Any “special edition” that is mostly graphics, no thanks! I want a package I can use not one that tells everyone I want them to look at me. Give me a police interceptor package, oh yea.

Saw a new Silverado at the local dealer thats a "Patriotic edition"... asked one of the sales guys what it was, and he said its literally nothing but 3 emblems on the outside(one for each front quarter panel and one on the tailgate).

Special Edition trucks appeal to enough people to make them worthwhile to produce.  Sometimes you find a package that more closely reflects your wants and/or needs than found in typical dealer stock.   When I was searching for my truck I narrowed my trim level search to a SLE- Kodiak Edition.  There was a wide range of options at the SLE level but the Kodiak package encompassed most of my priorities.

My last couple of trucks were Edition trucks (Texas edition), I got better deals with those than if I ordered separately. My 2014 was loaded almost to the level of an SLT less leather and Bose radios for 27K.

reminds me of Ford who just came out with a "Guy Harvey" edition which is literally just his emblem on the door and glove box.... sorry but not worth the added expense. Same goes for these realtree or anything. I usually take stuff OFF my truck like emblems and stuff.
