Footwell lighting

i know i am taking a little shit but pics with words helps sooo much.i have been wanting to do this mod since i bought my truck last year.i have the LTZ trim and was surprised that i did not have them.
so let me understand, is this available on other lineups like Tahoe or Suburban of same model year?if so it just a matter of ordering the wiring harness and a simple install?

Not sure what it’s available on I know it’s on a 2015 Tahoe LT trim. It’s not as simple as plug and play but it’s pretty straight forward. Mounting holes are already there on the Silverado. I ordered the lights and rat tails which plug into the lights then have to be wired into the proper circuit. Once I get the lights and wiring I will post some pics of the install.

Hey sorry been crazy busy the last week I have all parts I’m gonna start making the harness today. I will take and post all pics of the process. I wanna get them installed this weekend hopefully.

Lol the wife said the same thing wow that looks complicated. I said it’s wire in a box lololol. I think the holes on the top threw her off lolol.

I think the holes on top are meant to be drilled out if you want to keep the spools of wire in the box.

Curious what you mean by light up all the time at night? The LED's in my door handles are on whenever the lights are on so effectively they stay on at night.

OP can you post the part numbers for the lights and connectors? Also what are those plastic pin pieces on top of the envelope in your pic?

The factory intended operation of the illuminated handle is to be just like the Puddle Lamps where they come on at night when you unlock or open the door.

We are talking about the led on the interior front door handles right??

pgamboa is right but confused as what’s being talked about.

The INTERIOR handle light works just as the over head console ambient light would function.

Cadillac Escalade door handles illuminate on the outside. iirc there is a guy who added them to his K2. Looks pretty sweet.

Not confused - the question that was asked in a previous post that I responded to was about different lighting modes and operation. In my response, I showed the interior Dimming circuit as an option to tap. So the context was lost in subsequent posts [emoji4]. I was able to find this circuit in a closer BCM connector... which made me think of an diode mod for my illuminated handles [emoji4]
