Any must-do mods for the new Silverado?

I think it depends on the shape of the offending cars doors.  I have GM round running boards and if it's a square door it will hit the boards first.  More likely to protect against a front door than a back door, those are going to mess your truck up.

They’re DeeZee NXT boards. They’re aluminum so they’re light and they won’t rust. They’ve been through a couple Indiana winters on my daily driver and the powdercoat is holding up great. I did repaint the mounting brackets since they were rusting.

Thanks man! Im in CT so we have really crappy winters too but was looking for lightweight and good quality!

Here’s a couple more pics. These are crew cab length boards. The extended cab length boards are about 4-5” shorter than the cab. I made filler pieces the fill the gap between the boards and rockers because I didn’t like the look.
