Front end alignment

Is it necessary to get a front-end alignment after having a snow plow installed? I was talking to a guy today who told me I should get my front end on my 2500 aligned since the installation of the plow probably messed things up? Any truth to that?

Hey 07, with your plow installation being "temporary", I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you could even fit the truck on an alignment machine with the plow installed, then you would be in the same boat when you removed the plow, if the front end was set with the plow installed.

Yup, it would have to be done with the plow on  so no.  If you were to crank up th TBs to handle the extra weight then yes, that would be a good idea.

You can adjust torsion bars to keep ride height at 'book' value.

Adjust back down at end of season.
