I didn’t like the look with it completely off so I cut it in half. Best of both worlds. Still has the finished look but isn’t dragging on the ground like the stock one looks.

I just took it off and cut it along the seam and reinstalled.

I had my valance off for a while now and been wanting to do this. Finally got a Dremill and cut it in half. Looks a lot better than having it totally of in my opinion.

Looks good, when I had my 14 Sierra this is exactly what I did to it... On my 16 Silverado there is still a lot of plastic left once the air dam is removed so no cutting required...

I cut mine in half as well! I prefer it but both ways look good...that is off and halved, but not complete. Complete it looks like a ground effects kit

Totally agree, it’s the best of both worlds. Best mod I’ve done by far.

Does anyone still have their air damn? Im looking to test out painting one but do not want to test it out on my current one. Will buy and pay for shipping. GM wants a little North of $200 for a factory one...

I just took mine off, a day after driving the truck home from the dealer.

Where are you located?
